MISS WISCONSIN ORGANIZATION ANNOUNCES NEW HOME FOR 2025 COMPETITION
After 61 years in Oshkosh, Miss Wisconsin Competition will relocate to New Berlin

New Berlin, Wisconsin (September 17, 2024) – The Miss Wisconsin Organization, along with the City of New Berlin and the School District of New Berlin are excited to announce New Berlin as the new home of the Miss Wisconsin Competition! After 61 years in Oshkosh, the competition has decided to bid farewell to the Alberta Kimball Auditorium at Oshkosh West High School. Alberta Kimball Auditorium holds a special place in the organization’s history as three Miss Wisconsins who went on to become Miss America were crowned on that stage.

“On behalf of the Miss Wisconsin Organization, I would like to thank Oshkosh for 61 wonderful years hosting our competition. We are forever grateful for the incredible generosity and support of countless volunteers and businesses who helped shape who we are today.” said Executive Director, Brenda Baudo.

Baudo went on to say, “As we embark on our move to a new host city, we are excited about our partnership and possibilities of future events leading up to and including our competition. We would like to thank the city and Mayor Ament for the support they have already shown and look forward, with anticipation, to making New Berlin our new home.”

New Berlin Mayor Dave Ament stated, “The city is always looking for partnerships and developments that focus on the economic health of our community. This partnership will enhance our local economy by attracting visitors and promoting community engagement. On behalf of the Common Council, City Staff, Residents and Businesses, I welcome the Miss Wisconsin Organization and look forward to working together for many years.”

The 2025 Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Teen Competitions will take place June 18-21, 2025 at the New Berlin West Performing Arts Center.

Joe Garza, Superintendent of the School District of New Berlin said, “The West Performing Arts Center is a beautiful venue. Over the last couple of years, we have worked hard to bring more concerts and special events to it so that our community can enjoy this tremendous space. We are excited to team up with the Miss Wisconsin Organization and the City of New Berlin. This mutually beneficial partnership aligns perfectly with our strategic goals and will give us yet another opportunity to showcase the PAC and our incredible school district.”

The Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Teen Competition will feature Miss Wisconsin 2024, Mandi Genord, of Beaver Dam and Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2024, Ella Bey, of Pewaukee. Both will be competing for the titles of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen in Orlando, Florida in early January.

The city of New Berlin is no stranger to the Miss Wisconsin Organization, in the past 25 years four Miss Wisconsins have hailed from or represented New Berlin (Jayme Dawicki in 2002, Tracy Gest in 2005, Meghan Coffey in 2006 and Rosalie Smith in 2015).
